Born in Louisville, KY, to Paul and Lorraine Klueber, he grew up primarily in Toledo, OH. He was the third of six children in a lively and close-knit family. He attended Central Catholic High School, where he proudly played drums in the marching band and served as an altar boy — early reflections of the discipline and steady rhythm that would carry him throughout his life.
From a young age, he was a true motorhead. Whether it had wheels, wires, or an engine, he wanted to understand how it worked — and then make it run better. After high school, he began his apprenticeship with the IBEW, becoming a loyal union electrician whose skill and work ethic took him across the country. He built more than electrical systems and welds; he built a reputation for integrity, craftsmanship, and doing things the right way — always up to code.
He had a deep love for the open road and the outdoors. Riding his Harleys, camping under wide skies, and working with his hands brought him peace and joy. He was happiest with the wind in his face, a project in front of him, or family gathered nearby.
He loved his two children and embraced his three children by marriage as his own. His seven grandchildren were the absolute apple of his eye. He never hesitated to get down on the floor to play, tell stories, or share a laugh. His storytelling was legendary — full of humor, wisdom, and just enough embellishment to keep everyone listening.
Above all, he loved his wife, Krysti, deeply and devotedly. Their love was steady, loyal, and enduring — the foundation of his life.
He is survived by his loving wife, Krysti; their five children: Manon Moulton and her husband, Ben, along with their children Bronsyn (25), Piper (22), Khaleesi (10), and Sequoia (8); Katie Klueber; Erin Lechtenberg and her husband, TJ, along with their children Campbell (13) and Jensen (11); Garth Simpson and Tabitha, along with their daughter Fynn (6); and Gus Klueber. He is also survived by his siblings Becky Miller and her husband, Phil; Chris Klueber and his wife, Cheryl; Michael Klueber and his wife, Janie; Mary Klueber; and Justin Klueber and his wife, Suzette; his loyal dog, Bear; extended family; dear friends; and — fittingly — his beloved sourdough starter, which he tended with the same patience and care he gave to everything in his life.
A celebration of his life will be held at Palisade Basecamp RV Resort on May 28th at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Heart Association.
He will be remembered for his strong hands, his generous heart, his loyalty, his laughter, and the way he always showed up — for his work, for his family, and for the people he loved.
