Ralph Kuhn

January 2, 1938 – February 25, 1938

Ralph Kuhn passed away February 25, 2015 at the HopeWest Hospice Care center, he was 77. Ralph was born on January 2, 1938 in Quincy, Illinois from the union of Catherine and Leonard Kuhn. He graduated from Notre Dame High School and later attended college in Missouri. He later served three years in the United States army, stationed in Germany for two years.

He married Evelyn May Janssen in 1965 and moved to Palisade, CO in 1968. They were married for forty eight years before she preceded him in death on February 12, 2013 in Grand Junction, CO.

Ralph worked for Nations Way Transport for twenty six years before retirement. He attended Victory Life Church in Fruita and was a devoted God fearing man. He loved lifting, and working out with his pals at the Fruita Fitness Center. He also loved gardening and to eat and have fellowship at Judy’s Family Restaurant.

Ralph leaves behind Theresa Miller of Grand Junction, Colorado, Rick Harris of Fruita, Colorado, Tammy Grogan of Grand Junction, Colorado, Mark Harris of Grand Junction, Colorado and Chonnie Cutsforth of Fruita, Colorado, a brother; Gerald Kuhn of Quincy, Illinois, twelve grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister; Delores Sparks and a son Monte Miller.

In lieu of flowers, Ralph requested a donation in his name be made to HopeWest Hospice, 3090 North 12th Street,#B, Grand Junction, CO 81506, for his gratitude and their continued service in the Grand Valley.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, March 2, 2015 at the Victory Life Church, 2066 Highway 6 and 50, Fruita, CO 81521.
