Ramona’s spirit was peacefully set free on a warm spring day, surrounded by loved ones.
Born in Montrose, CO, to Katherine and George Reece, Ramona was raised in Telluride, CO, alongside her two loving sisters, Rosanne and Hope.
Much of Ramona’s life was lived in Grand Junction, CO, where she married her husband, Doug, and had three children that cherished her: Skylar, Kylee, and Nakai. Five grandchildren adored her in the later years of her life: Gavin, Declan, Trace, Rue, and Goldie.
Ramona served the hairdressing needs of the Grand Valley for many years out of Cherokee Creek Salon. Her spare time was spent hiking with her dogs and sharing a laugh with friends, all of whom she loved very deeply.
Those that knew Ramona won’t soon forget her warm presence, endless generosity, and wonderfully kind heart.
