

Lifelong resident of Mesa, CO., Robert "Bill" W. Bieser passed away in his home, surrounded by loved ones and family members. Bill is survived by his wife Patsy A. Bieser, after celebrating their sixty-sixth wedding anniversary on August 11th. Bill is also survived by four children, Michael (Judy) Bieser, Hartford, KY., Jeraldine (Dave) Banzhaf, Glenrock, WY., Tom (Tami) Bieser Mesa, CO., & Joy (Otis) Latham, Mesa, CO, along with 9 Grandchildren and 17 Great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents William & Pauline Bieser, & Granddaughter Courtni Bieser. Bill was a deep-rooted, third generation rancher on his family’s homestead of Mesa, CO. Born in Grand Junction, Bill was brought home to the family ranch that his father established in 1900. He attended the Mesa School and graduated as the only boy in a class of three. Bill spent his years hunting & caring for his family and livestock – aside from the time that he spent in service during WWII. He was honorably discharged, receiving a World War II Victory Medal, Asiatic Pacific Campaign Medal, & the Good Conduct Medal. Bill later retired as the Deputy Water Commissioner of Mesa after working from 1957-1988.Today, the ranch remains in the Bieser family, and continues to raise the 6th generation of Bieser ranchers, living Bill’s legacy of hard work. No services are planned as was his request.
