Was born in Fayetteville North Carolina in 1981. Ryan moved a lot through his childhood finally landing in Grand Junction which is where he always called home. After high school he worked many jobs including landscaping, motorcycle sales and various oil field jobs until he finally found his calling to be a welder. Ryan worked long hard hours to provide for his family. He took great pride in his welding and his accomplishments.
Ryan married Joy Rockow in 2008. They had a successful welding business that allowed them to be able to work together.
Ryan valued most the love of his family and he enjoyed making others happy. He had the biggest heart a “gentle giant” as his friends would say.
Anyone that knew Ryan knew his love for adrenaline sports. He loved his motorcycles whether it was dirt biking sport bikes or Harleys and the freedom he felt riding them. His most recent adventure was paragliding. He studied hard, trained and learned the weather so that he could fly. He loved the peace he felt when he was flying.
Ryans last words to his wife were “I’m going to go catch the sunset, I love you babe”
Forever in our hearts.
