Sharon R. Bridgewater, age 68, of Grand Junction, went home to be with the Lord on May 8, 2015, while at HopeWest Care Center.
Sharon was a dedicated servant of Jesus, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother while working as a bookkeeper and County clerk. She enjoyed music, writing, gardening, ministering at her church, and spending time with her family.
Visitation will be Wednesday, May 13, from 5 - 7:00 p.m. at Callahan-Edfast, 2515 Patterson Road. Funeral services will be Thursday, May 14, at 11:00 a.m. at The Rock, 2170 Broadway.
Sharon is survived by her husband of 48 years, Michael; a daughter, Laura Wright of Denver; a son, Pastor Mike Bridgewater of Grand Junction; brother, Pastor (retired) Larry Mallett of Grand Junction, and seven grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to Church on the Rock and will be forwarded to the Kabwata orphanage in Zambia, Africa.
