Sue is survived by her devoted husband of 45 years, Bill Schaffner; her son Mike Schaffner of Greeley, CO; and daughters Jennie Schaffner of Oak Creek, CO, and Alisha (Gerald) Sanchez of Grand Junction, CO. She was a proud grandmother to 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Sue’s legacy of love, strength, and dedication will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends. A celebration of her life will be held on December 13, 2024, at 11:30 a.m. at Callahan Mortuary in Grand Junction.
