Thor N.V. Karlstrom, 94, Grand Junction, died Sept. 25, 2014, at his residence. Services are pending.
Mr. Karlstrom was a geologist.
He is survived by three sons, Eric of Crestone, Karl of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Rolf of Amherst, Massachusetts; one daughter, Karen Fricke of Grand Junction; two brothers, Leroy of La Conner, Washington, and Ernie of Washington state; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
