Jack and I remember the nice dinners  and conversations at home of Mike and Donna in Parker, CO.   I remember a fun story of Mike successfully outrunning a coyote to save their little  Dachshund  named Max.  Later a puppy named Tucker joined the family. One of their dogs liked  to round up  airplanes in the sky!  Jack remembers Mike’s talent at restoring a Model A car in his fancy home-made shop. 
We met Mike and Donna at a group that met to form Spirit of Hope Lutheran Church in Parker, Colorado.  I remember helping Donna and Mike make coffee for the new church.  They were very instrumental in the formation of the church in many aspects.  
I remember their move to Grand Junction and the tremendous job they had to get rid of things and move.  
It was a blessing to know Mike and Donna as well.  Farewell  to Mike now in safe hands of Jesus!  Bless you Donna!  Love you!  💕
