Willis L. Ball went to join his wife Hazel on August 17, 2018 at the age of 88. He attended school in Mesa, CO. and graduated from Appleton High School. He played basketball in High School, enjoyed word find books, wood working and various crafts with Hazel. They made hundreds of projects for their family. He also enjoyed Nascar racing, keeping up with the news on TV, and watching most sports on TV but especially the Denver Broncos and Colorado Rockies. He and Hazel enjoyed fishing and dancing. He greatly enjoyed spending time with his grand children and great grand children. He was a mechanic, electrician and various other occupations. He was a member of the Eagles Lodge. He was a member of the Church of the Latter Day Saints.
Willis is survived by his daughters Shirley Zabawa of Arvada, Co., and Linda Byers of Clarksville, Ar., and son Ray and Suzie Ball of Grand Junction, Co., and one sister Ellen Anderson of Littleton, Co. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 18 great grand children. His grand children called him a garbage disposal because he would eat everything that they couldn't finish on their plates.
He met Hazel at a dance and were married on November 14, 1949. She preceded him in death on June 13, 2012. Willis was born on December 22, 1929 from the union of Ray and Effie Ball and was the youngest of 7 children. They preceded him in death along with his brothers Wayne, Howard, Harold and his sisters Clara and Mary and grandson Todd Ball.
