Mr. Adẹyẹmi Titus Aladeyẹlu, aged 63, of Grand Prairie, Texas, succumbed to death and passed on to a greater glory on July 28, 2020 after a life long illness but brief hospitalization. He was born in Ọyẹ́-Èkìtì, Nigeria on April 27,1957 to Late Pa Israel Ojo and Late Felicia A. Aladeyelu (née Awoyemi).
Mr. Titus is survived by his loving and caring wife Olufunkẹ Aladeyẹlu (née Awobusuyi), son – Ayọbami, daughters – Christina and Destiny Aladeyẹlu, and sister, Modupẹ Alaba Aladeyelu. Titus was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, and a great friend to many. He was also predeceased by his son Albert Aladeyẹlu.
Titus, a staunch social activist in the Oyẹ́-Èkìtì and Èkìtì communities, enjoyed watching his children succeed at different levels and was an avid soccer player and analyst. His views about Nigerian politics is exceptional and his comments on the American politics were unique as well.
The family gives our thanks to the Nigerian and Èkìtì communities in the diaspora for their lifelong friendship. We wish to express our deep gratitude to all the people that took care of him over the years, up until his final days.
Funeral Arrangement:
Funeral service will be from 12:00 p.m. to 1:15 p.m. on Friday, August 7, 2020.
