Angelina grew up in Oak Cliff where she attended W.E. Greiner Exploratory Arts School, T.W. Browne Middle School and Sunset High School. A member of Gateway Church Grand Prairie Campus, Angelina enjoyed riding motorcycles, crocheting and visiting WinStar in Oklahoma. A vibrant, energetic and loving woman she spent much of her time in her garden or cooking for her family and friends. She was loyal, strong and caring, doing whatever it took. A big piece of Angelina’s life was her faith. A common phrase to hear in her home was “Walk in faith, not in fear.”
Angelina is preceded in death by her parents, Samuel Anthony Caruso and Marilyn Dorothy Williams Caruso; brother Phillip Caruso.
She is survived by her husband John Michael Lemmon; children: Valerie Castillo and only son-in-law, Jose, Edward Leija and only daughter-in-law, Christina, Genevieve Leija; grandchildren: Ariel Ponce and her husband, Andres’, Samuel Angulo, Madeline Leija, Mia Mallard, Christian Michael Leija; great-granddaughter Dalila Marilyn De La Rosa; siblings: Teresa Preston, Josephine Gonzales and her husband, Louis, Leonard Caruso and his wife, Sheryl, Christina Alvarado and her husband, Armando.
