On Monday April 30th 2018 at 8:27 in the company of her family Benigna Gomez closed her eyes to be with our Lord in Paradise. She was born on February 13th 1969, at Rioverde as the first daughter of Onoria and Baldomero. She married the love of her life Arturo Gomez in 1992 then settling down in Arlington Texas and raised two children who she adored.
Born in Rioverde, San Luis Potosi in Mexico. She met, married, and then moved to America with Arturo; where they stayed with his mother for a short while. After some time, they then found a small home in Arlington Texas where her family begins around 1993 and stayed there for 20 years. There she learned to be more independent and a caring mother and wife for her family. She then finds her dream home where she lived the rest of her life at on Baylor Dr., a home that she consistently stated her love for and a home that fit her perfectly.
In (2002) she began her career working diligently at the cafeteria of Rankin elementary, arriving on time every day and never missing a day of work before her valiant fight with cancer. She enjoyed cooking her favorite foods and learning of new ways to cook from various books that she had. She would knit on her free time to decorate the house and give everything a more personal feel. She enjoyed working with her garden and collecting an assortment of beautiful plants.
She is survived by her husband Arturo Gomez, her daughter Bianka Gomez, her son Arthur Jay Gomez, her sister Silvia Izar, Her brother in law Chen, and many loving others.
Funeral services will be held at Most Blessed Sacrament and the burial will be held at Moore cemetery.
