

Clifford Rea Bogle, age 73, of Grand Prairie, Texas, passed away on April 11, 2016 at Medical Center Arlington in Arlington, Texas after a sudden illness. Rea was born February 13, 1943 in Springfield, Missouri, the son of Clifford Franklin and Ima Jean (Taylor) Bogle. Rea lived his early childhood in Aurora, Missouri. His family moved to Terrell, Texas in 1947 and then to Dallas, Texas in 1953. They moved permanently to Grand Prairie, Texas in 1956.
Rea graduated from Grand Prairie High School in 1961. He married his high school sweetheart, Sharon Jean Winter, on August 14, 1962. They too settled in Grand Prairie where they remained until Rea’s passing. He initially worked as a salesman for Watson Department Stores. He later joined his father and brother in-law at Bogle-Greenwell Machinery Corp. He continued to work there until the final days of his life.
Rea is survived by his wife Sharon, of the home; son Cliff Bogle, Jr. and his wife Becky of Arlington; daughter Cristy Keating and her husband John of Wichita, Kansas; and five grandchildren, Cameron Bogle of Arlington, Madelyn Ketchum and her husband Derek of Tomball, Texas, Paige Bogle of Arlington, Hannah Keating of Wichita, and Elizabeth Keating of Wichita.
Rea was preceded in death by his parents and sister Shirley Greenwell.
A memorial service under the direction of Bean-Massey-Burge Funeral Home will be held at First United Methodist Church at 3:00pm on Saturday, April 16, 2016 in Grand Prairie.
