Danny Ray Mills

Danny was born June 8, 1945 in Gladewater, Texas and went to be with our Lord on May 20, 2018. Danny is survived by his wife of 48 years Sue, their daughter Christy and son-in-law Steve Westover and son Bryan and daughter-in-law Lauren Mills and two of the greatest grandchildren in the world, Lucas and Miranda. Danny served our country in Vietnam in the U.S. Navy on the USS Valley Forge from June 1964 through October 1967, and continued in Naval Reserve until June 1970. Danny was employed as a Firefighter/Paramedic by the City of Irving from 1969 through 2005 and also worked at Children’s Medical Center in Dallas for 17 years. Danny was a loving husband, father and papa. Danny loved fishing, traveling to see the beauty of this country and making memories with his family.
