

Lisa leaves behind her devoted husband of 29 years, Manuel Garcia, with whom she was about to celebrate their 30th wedding anniversary. She also leaves behind her children, Jaclyn Suzette Palomino, Manuel Luis "Mono" Garcia, Nicolas "Nico" Mateo Garcia, and adoptive son Richard "Ricky" Praydis, and her siblings, Mary Alice Palomino, Jesse Marroquin, Luis Antonio "L.A." Navarro, Eddie Palomino, and Richard Palomino.
Lisa was preceded in death by her son, Manuel Jr., her parents, Gloria Ann Palomino and Everardo Estrada Palomino & Lucy Briseno Palomino, and her brothers Michael Marroquin, Roy Palomino, and Jesse Palomino.
Lisa was a wife and a devoted partner who cherished every moment she spent with her husband, Manuel. As a mother, she poured boundless love and affection into her children, Jaclyn, "Mono", "Nico", and "Ricky", including Armani and her goddaughter Aryanna, nurturing them with unwavering care. She embraced her role as a sister, aunt, cousin, and friend, extending her warmth and kindness to all who crossed her path. In her nursing career, Lisa found fulfillment in caring for others and tending to the needs of her patients with compassion and dedication. Known for her welcoming spirit, she never met a stranger, always opening her home to friends and family with open arms and hearty meals. Lisa's love for entertaining shined brightly as she delighted in bringing joy to those around her through gatherings filled with laughter and love. Her passion for Tejano music ignited during her formative years at KNON & KESS radio, where she conducted interviews with esteemed artists such as Selena, Gary Hobbs (her compadre), Little Joe, Rocky Hernandez, and countless others. Her love for dancing and singing resonated with her vibrant personality, while her unwavering support for the New Orleans Saints epitomized her spirited nature. Family was Lisa's most treasured possession, and she cherished every moment spent in their company. Whether exploring new destinations or simply sharing stories around the dinner table, Lisa's bond with her family remained unbreakable, a testament to the depth of her love and strength of spirit.
The sudden departure of Lisa has left a profound shock and ache in the hearts of her entire family, as well as the countless others who held her dear within our community. During this challenging time, the outpouring of support from family and friends has been a source of solace and strength for us all.
