Eleanor "Elly" Torres, 79, of Grand Prairie passed away Sunday, Jan. 8, 2012, in Arlington. Funeral: 2 p.m. Friday at Bean-Massey-Burge Funeral Home Belt Line Road. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Elly was born to Rocco and Theresa Accoreno Mazzotti on Feb. 13, 1932, in Brooklyn, N.Y. Elly was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Rita DiBlasi; and former husband and friend, Willie Torres. Survivors: Left behind to cherish her memory are her son, John Torres and his wife, Michelle, of Mansfield; daughters, Debbie Torres of Grand Prairie and Mary Ann Mirelez and her husband, Joe, of Grand Prairie; brother, Lenny Mazzotti; sister, Rosie Miller; grandchildren, Brandy Torres, Marcus Mirelez and his wife, Chelsea, Natalie Torres, Danielle Torres, Macie Torres, Mackenzie Torres and Katie Torres; and great-grandchildren, Colin Mirelez, Aiden Burns and Londyn Torres.
