Ernestina Perez Berain

Tina was born on February 29, 1952, in San Antonio, Texas, to Dionicia Hernandez and Martin Luna Perez. Tina brought love, light and laughter to those around her and faced life with courage and grace. She was a woman defined by her strength, resilience, humor, unwavering faith, and her fierce love for her children and grandchildren.

Her joy was found in the simple but meaningful moments which she shared with her family. She treasured every opportunity to celebrate life surrounded by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family, and friends. Her presence was the heart of every gathering, and her love for her family was evident in all she did. She also loved a competitive game of Lotería or Pokeno.

Tina is lovingly survived by her four sons and one daughter: Stanley Berain, Michael Berain, Andrew Berain, Daniel Berain, and Alma Reyes; her daughters in law: Felicia Salinas Berain, Lulu Berain, Felicia Berain, Dina Berain; and her son in law: Luis Reyes. She is also survived by her siblings: Esther Orta, Mary Jane Salazar, Rene Perez, Liz Perez, and Martin Perez Jr.

She leaves behind a legacy of love through her grandchildren: Cris’Stan Hernandez, Mariah Rangel, Michael Berain Jr., Brittany Baker, Alexus Castorena, Johnathon Berain, Andrew Berain, Isaac Alvarado, Christopher Alvarado, Tristan Berain, Isaiah Alvarado, Danielle Berain, Demi Berain, Mia Berain, Delilah Berain, and Luke Reyes. In addition she has 11 great grandchildren.

Tina was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Dionicia Hernandez and Martin Luna Perez, as well as her siblings, Ernesto Perez and Alberto Perez.

A Celebration of Life will be held following the viewing at Sky Event Center, 1133 Avenue G, Arlington, Texas 76011.
