J Jesus Velazquez Sarabia

J. Jesus was a simple and humble man who lived life on his own terms. He kept to himself and never asked much of others, but those who knew him understood the quiet strength and kindness he carried. Though not one for many words, he always returned a greeting with warmth and respect, reflecting the goodness of his character.

He was a hard worker and often worked two jobs to support himself and caring for his young daughter. Above all, he was a loving and devoted father. He is survived by his children, in order of age: Jaime Velasquez, Javier Velasquez, Jesus Velazquez, and Guadalupe Velazquez, who he loved very much.

J. Jesus was a man of faith, deeply rooted in his Catholic beliefs. He held a special devotion to the Virgin Mary, whom he honored and defended with great conviction.

In his personal time, he had a passion for working with wood, creating and customizing cutting boards. He also had a passion for cooking. This reflects both his talent and patience. He also took great pride in his GMC pickup truck, which he cherished dearly.

J. Jesus will be remembered as a quiet, hardworking man with a good heart, a devoted father, and someone who lived simply but meaningfully. He will be deeply missed by his family and all who had the privilege of knowing him. May he rest in eternal peace.

JJesus Velazquez Sarabia, de 61 años, falleció en paz el 22 de Marzo de 2026, tras una valiente lucha contra el cáncer de páncreas. Nació el 26 de Diciembre de 1964.

JJesus fue un hombre sencillo y humilde que vivió la vida a su manera. Le gustaba mantenerse reservado y nunca pedía mucho de los demás, pero quienes lo conocieron comprenden la fortaleza silenciosa y la bondad que llevaba dentro. Aunque no era de muchas palabras, siempre respondía a un saludo con respeto y calidez, reflejando la nobleza de su carácter.

Fue un hombre muy trabajador y con frecuencia tenía dos empleos para salir adelante y apoyar a su hija. Por encima de todo, fue un padre amoroso y dedicado. Le sobreviven sus hijos, en orden de mayor a menor: Jaime Velasquez, Javier Velasquez, Jesus Velazquez y Guadalupe Velazquez, a quienes amaba profundamente.

JJesus fue un hombre de fe, profundamente arraigado en sus creencias católicas. Tenía una devoción especial a la Virgen María, a quien honraba y defendía con gran convicción. En su tiempo libre, disfrutaba trabajando la madera, creando y personalizando tablas de cortar. También le apasionaba cocinar. Esto refleja tanto su talento como su paciencia. También se sentía muy orgulloso de su camioneta GMC, la cual apreciaba mucho.

JJesus será recordado como un hombre tranquilo, trabajador, de buen corazón, un padre dedicado y alguien que vivió de manera sencilla pero con propósito. Será profundamente extrañado por su familia y por todos aquellos que tuvieron el privilegio de conocerlo. Que descanse en paz eterna.

Visitation will be held at Grand Prairie Funeral Home, 733 Dalworth Street, Grand Prairie, TX 75050, on April 3, 2026, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, followed by a Funeral Service from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.

A Committal Service will take place at Grand Prairie Memorial Gardens, 3001 S. Belt Line Road, Grand Prairie, TX 75052, on April 3, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 2:30 pm.
