Acension married Rosa Maria Rodriguez on April 11,1986.
He worked in the construction business, specifically for DLM Steel. He loved gardening and carpentry. He also enjoyed listening to music in his free time. He also enjoyed cooking. He loved spending time with his family.
Acension is survived by his wife, Rosa; children, Carlos, Rosy, Octavio, Yadi, Lisandro, and Lucy; grandchildren, Nayeli, Miguel Jr., Itzel, Carlos Jr., Lisandro Jr., Adriana, Honowaii, Leokane, Natalie, Ariel, Jazmine, Angel, Octavio, Jr., Bella, Leonardo, Albert, Vanessa, Nick, Caryssa, Anthony and Rosalyn; great-grandchildren, Leonardo Jr., Jeremy, Melody, Edwin, Melanie, Isabella, Camilla, Luna, Nova and Soul; and his sister, Anna Rodriguez.
A visitation for Acension will be held Tuesday, August 15, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Bean-Massey-Burge Funeral Home, in the chapel, located at 2951 S. Belt Line Road, Grand Prairie, TX 75052. A funeral service will take place Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at 1:00 PM, 2951 S. Belt Line Road, Grand Prairie, TX 75052. A graveside service will follow at 2:00 PM at Grand Prairie Memorial Gardens, 3001 S. Belt Line Road, Grand Prairie, TX 75052.
