

Jan graduated in 1957 from Grand Prairie High School.
Jan worked for over 20 years as a secretary for B.F. Goodrich. She also loved working part time at Leddy Brothers Western Store with her brother Wilmer during the holidays. She later worked in advertising for over 20 years at the Wall Street Journal until she retired.
Jan was a member of Inglewood Baptist Church since the late 60’s. She volunteered at the church in many different areas of need such as flowers, decorations, bed babies, kitchen duty, Hands of Love. If she could not be found at home, she was usually at the church.
Jan loved the Lord and was ready to go home. She loved her church family and friends.
In her younger years Jan barrel raced and showed horses. She was also in a bowling league. She played commercial softball with Jinks Electric Shockers and the Dallas Pacers and then went on to play and coach for Inglewood Church League. She reluctantly retired from softball around the age of 63.
Jan is survived by her two daughters, Kathy Neumeier and husband Mark of Canton and Shelly Beasley and husband Mike of Willow Park. In addition, she had two grandsons, Michael Beasley and wife Patricia of Eastland and Ty Neumeier of Canyon. Jan also had two great grandchildren, Kevin and Emma Beasley. As well as a nephew, nieces, several cousins and many special friends.
Jan is preceded in death by her mother Ruth Windham, a brother Wilmer Windham and great grandson Tyler Beasley.
Visitation will be held on January 3rd from 10 am - 11am with a Memorial Service following at Inglewood Baptist Church. 1901 S. Carrier Parkway, Grand Prairie.
