He is survived by his wife Josephine Garcia and two sons Jose Garcia Jr and Jacob Garcia; brothers Juan Garcia, Eloy Garcia, Hector Garcia, and Victor Morales; and sister Diana García
He is preceded in death by His parents Margarito and Benita Garcia and brother Luis Garcia.
He graduated from Grand Prairie High School in 1981 and went straight into the US Army.
He served in the US Army and retired from the Army National Guard in 2004. He started working for PrintEdd Products in 1991 and was well loved by both his work and military families.
He was a devoted Husband and Father, even serving as a Boy Scout leader for his sons Boy Scout troop, and loved music. He had a famously large collection of cassettes and records until we introduced him to YouTube at which time he would listen to any song he could think of… usually while taking a shower and getting dressed…. And singing along.
He was always faithful and loyal to both God and Country.
