Lillian Marie Tekip went to be with her Lord February 2, 2013. She was born May 3, 1936 in Chicago, IL to Michael and Hazel Diduch.
Lillian was strong brave woman who in her younger years wanted to be in the military. Unfortunately she never made it but ended up a beautician, then an employee of Wal-mart for 16 years.
After she retired, Lillian became very fond of occupying her time with paint-by-numbers or doing ceramics. As much fun as these activities were, her favorite past time was working in her yard.
Lillian had a small home outside of city limits that sat on an acre of land. She may not have been a gardener with lots of colored flowers, but her yard always looked good. "God's little acre" as she would call it, was no small task to handle but she loved to mow and weed-eat her yard. She did all the yard work, most the time alone, well into her 70's.
She is survived by her sons, Terrence and Timothy; brother Michael; adopted Texas children Georgette and Larry, and her beagle.
A memorial service will be held at a date not yet determined.
