Linda T. Kwaramba

Linda Tapiwa Kwaramba, lovingly known as Tapi, Auntie Nina, and Big Mama, of Huntsville, Alabama, passed away on November 11, 2025, at the age of 44. She was born on September 21, 1981, in Harare, Zimbabwe to Kenneth and Gladys Kwaramba.

Linda immigrated to the United States in 1993 at the age of 12 and lived in Grand Prairie, Texas throughout her childhood. She attended Atherton Elementary School in Arlington, Texas, where she discovered her passion and gift for singing. She later attended Hutcheson Junior High School and Sam Houston High School, participating in chorus and drama and competing at the state level. Linda graduated from Sam Houston High School in 1999, earning a full-ride vocal scholarship to Oklahoma Christian University because of her exceptional singing abilities.

Linda worked as a nanny in Chicago, Illinois, a role through which she shared her love, patience, and nurturing spirit. She was deeply passionate about choir, church, and children, and these remained central parts of her life.

She is survived by her fiancé, Robert Booker, who remained faithfully by her side; her siblings, Claymore, Keith, Kelvin, and Kenneth Kwaramba, as well as her mother, Gladys Kwaramba.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the Booker family, Keith and Lynn Booker, for the care and compassion they showed Linda, especially through multiple surgeries and doctor visits during her final days.

A Memorial Service honoring the life of Linda T. Kwaramba will be held at Bean-Massey-Burge Funeral Home, located at 2951 S. Belt Line Road, Grand Prairie, Texas 75052, on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at 7:00PM, with visitation beginning at 6:00PM. A Funeral Service will follow on Friday, November 21, 2025, at 11:00AM, at the same location. Interment will take place at 1:00PM at Grand Prairie Memorial Gardens, located at 3001 S. Belt Line Road, Grand Prairie, Texas 75052.

Following the interment, family and friends are invited to gather for a fellowship meal at Tony Shotwell Life Center, located 2750 Graham Street, Grand Prairie, Texas 75050.
