Linda Lou Pitcock

Linda Lou Braddock Pitcock, born February 3, 1939, went home to meet her Maker on Sunday May 7, 2023. Linda is the daughter of YY Braddock and Shirley Stephens Braddock, born in Pecan Gap, Texas in Delta County, at their home.

Linda is preceded in death by her husband, H. Kenneth Pitcock; son, Howard K. Pitcock, Jr.; parents, YY and Shirley Braddock; sisters, Martha Goforth, Georgia Russell, and Catherine Phillips; brothers, Yale M. Braddock, H.L. Braddock, John Braddock, James Braddock, Bobby Braddock, George W. Braddock and Clayton Braddock.

Survivors include: children, Teresa Koprovich, Linda McKellum, Connie Malone and one son, Ronald Pitcock; grandchildren, Kendahl and Kendra Koprovich, Chrystal Pitcock Underwood, Ronnie Pitcock Malone, Jessica Mashburn, Chandra Pitcock, Joseph and Benjamin McKellum; along with 21 great-grandchildren; and numerous great-great-grandchildren.

Linda Lou retired from Stockley Van Camp after 18 years of service. She then went to work at Dalworth Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Grand Prairie, as head cook, where she took great pleasure in serving her elders.

Linda was loved by EVERYONE she ever met. She had a heart of gold and genuinely loved everyone! She will be missed, never forgotten and FOREVER CHERISHED IN THE HEARTS of all that where graced by her presence.

A visitation for Linda will be held Monday, May 15, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Grand Prairie Funeral Home, 733 Dalworth Street, Grand Prairie, TX 75050. A funeral service will take place Tuesday, May 16, 2023 from 1:00 PM at the Funeral Home. A committal service will follow at 2:00 PM at Grand Prairie Memorial Gardens, 3001 S. Belt Line Road, Grand Prairie, TX 75052.
