Maria De Jesus Serrano, age 99 passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2021. Maria was born January 19, 1921 in Zacatecas, Mexico to Camilo Serrano and Maria Ramirez. Maria is the fourth of fourteen children and the last of her siblings.
Maria was a devoted wife and loving mother who spent her time caring for her family. A woman of faith she raised her family in the church and attended most recently Immaculate Conception in Grand Prairie. Maria had a beautiful soul and smile. She leaves behind a host of loving families members.
A visitation for Maria will be held Friday, January 15, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Grand Prairie Funeral Home, 733 Dalworth Street, Grand Prairie, TX 75050. A funeral mass will occur Friday, January 15, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 610 NE 17th St, Grand Prairie, TX 75050, Grand Prairie, TX 75050. A graveside service will occur Friday, January 15, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at Southland Memorial Park, 1100 SW 3rd St., Grand Prairie, TX 75051.
Serving as pallbearers are Alfonso Gallegos III, Sergio Velasco, Ivan Rosales, Roberto Gallegos and Ruben Carlos.
