Maribel Ortiz, age 43 passed away on Saturday, September 18, 2021. Maribel was born October 27, 1977 in Zacatecas, Mexico to Arturo Ortiz De Avila and Lorenza Hernandez Miranda.

Maribel was a loving wife and devoted mother. The family settled in Dallas, Texas and after the loss of her husband she worked hard to keep her family safe and happy. A devout Catholic she was a kind hearted woman who raised her children to love the Lord.

Serving as pallbearers are: Angel Montiel, Alexander Montiel, Luis Ortiz, Hugo Ortiz, Eduardo Navarro, Rogelio Herrera, Fernando Lopez and Severiano Alvino.

Visitación for Maribel will be held Thursday, September 30, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Grand Prairie Funeral Home, 733 Dalworth Street, Grand Prairie, TX 75050.

Servicio funerario will occur Thursday, October 7, 2021 at 11:00 AM, 733 Dalworth Street, Grand Prairie, TX 75050. Sepelio will follow at Grand Prairie Memorial Gardens, 3001 S. Belt Line Road, Grand Prairie, TX 75052.
