

Mary Ruth Jaggers was born October 26th, 1927, in Mount Vernon, Texas to parents Henry and Lucy Jaggers, she was the 9th of 11 children. Mary passed away into the loving arms of our Lord on December 5th, 2012 at the age of 85. Mary along with her brothers and sisters were raised on the family farm in east Texas. She graduated from Mount Vernon High School. Following graduation she moved to Dallas, to work. After moving to Dallas she met and married Oscar Allen Ansley. They soon after moved to Fort Worth and started a family. They had three sons Joseph Michael, Patrick Allen and David Paul Ansley
On May 2nd, 1975, Mary and Lewis Armstead Vermillion were married, with this union two more children were added to the family Alan Lee and Rene’ Vermillion. Mary worked at Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company till her retirement.
Mary and Lewis were long time members of the Freetown Road Church of Christ, they were very involved in church activities and they both loved and were beloved by their church family. Mary was preceded in death by: her loving husband Lewis A. Vermillion, her son Joseph Michael Ansley, and daughter-in-law Ethel Ansley.Mary is Survived by: her children Patrick Ansley, Alan and wife Karen Vermillion, David Ansley and wife Glenda, Rene’ and husband Randy Smith. Grand children: Jeremy, Acie, Harold, Jason, Kathryn, , Nathan, Sara, Amy, Ashley and Kenneth. And a multitude of great grand children, nieces and nephews.Visitation will be at Bean-Massey-Burge Funeral Home, Grand Prairie Texas, Tuesday December 11th, 2011 6:00 to 8:00 PM.Services officiated by David Thruman, Pastor of Freetown Road Church of Christ, at Bean-Massey-Burge Funeral Home, Wednesday December 12th, 2012 at 11 AM. Burial at: The National Cemetery, Grand Prairie, Texas. She will be interned beside her loving husband Lewis Vermillion.
