

Our hearts are broken today as we all mourn the loss of our beloved Miguel Angel Chavez (Mike). His bright light and big heart left us way too soon, but we will remember his warmth, love, smile, love for adventure, making others laugh, and generosity. Mike was born to Miguel Gonzalez and Cindy Chavez.
He passed away at the age of 37 on March 30, 2023 at his home in Fort Worth, TX. He grew up in a close knit loving family in Grand Prairie and graduated from Grand Prairie High School in 2004. He then went to Mountain View Community College to further his education. He spent the majority of his career at aRes Travel then went on to owning a successful realtor business called OMG Sold based out of Dallas, TX.
He is survived by his parents Miguel Gonzalez and Cindy Chavez, wife Melissa Chavez, first wife Mayra Lozano, father and mother-in-law Cruz and Marcela Garcia, his brother Nathan Marek, his sister-in-law Monica Marek, his sister Candice Allen, his brother-in-law Ahmon Allen, his sister Meagan Lu, his brother-in-law Christopher Lu, his sister Jazmyn Silva, his brother-in-law Jose Silva, his sister Marianna Gonzalez, his sister Oshun Gonzalez, his sister Melinna Gonzalez, his sister-in-law Naydelin Garcia, and his sister-in- law Jessica Garcia, his nephew Tristin Humphrey, his niece Aaliyah Allen, his niece Alianah Allen, his nephew Ahmarii Allen, his nephew Uriah Marek, his nephew Titus Marek, his nephew Zane Marek, his nephew Gabriel Silva, his nephew Adryan Silva, his niece Audrey Lu, and his nephew Atticus Lu. He is preceded in death by his beloved sons Boady and Jayden Chavez.
A memorial service for Miguel will be held Thursday, April 27th at 11:00AM at Bean Massey Burge Funeral Home at 2951 S Beltline Rd., Grand Prairie, TX. Following the memorial service will be a committal service at 3:00PM at Grand Prairie Memorial Gardens, 3001 S Beltline Rd., Grand Prairie TX.
