Nancy E Alexander

Nancy attended Milton Elementary School (Rye NY), Osborn Elementary School (Rye NY), Rye High School, and continued her education at New Rochelle Nursing School. She was a Registered Nurse, as well as, a Graphic Designer.

Nancy joined the United States Air Force in July 1969. She served on Active Duty from July 22, 1969 until July 22, 1971. She then transferred to USAF Reserves from 1971-1977.

Nancy had several hobbies, including reading, listening to Christmas music, and also 50's and 60's music. She had memberships with the DAV, American Legion, AARP, VVA.

Family members who preceded Nancy in death: father, John Koenig, Sr.; mother, Elizabeth Harder Koenig; aunt, Eva Foetsch, aunt Hilda and uncle Erving Dunbar; cousins, Marion Foetsch and Margie Pecuch and husband, Louie.

Survivors: son, John J. Alexander; brother, John Koenig, Jr. and wife, Sandy; cousin, Alice Dunbar Barrett and husband, Ron; nieces, Angela Koenig Tufts and Elizabeth Koenig Lacko; great-nephews, Logan and Tristan Tufts, Colton Lacko .

A visitation for Nancy will be held Monday, June 13, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Grand Prairie Funeral Home, 733 Dalworth Street, Grand Prairie, TX 75050. Funeral service: 11:00 a.m. Tuesday June 14, 2022 at Grand Prairie Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Shannon Rose Hill Cemetery.
