So sorry to hear of MS. Byrd's passing. I remember her being the most compassionate teacher I had throughout school. I wanted to write more here for you, Jason, but the pressure of Ms. Byrd watching over and critiquing my poor spelling and grammar is more than I can bare. ( or is it bear?) I am grateful to have had her as a teacher—my prayers and condolences.

Mrs. Byrd was one of my favorite teachers. I was blessed to have her in 8th grade English at Jackson Middle School. Lord knows she had the patience to put up with us, and that is why God made her a teacher. She will always be remembered as a kind, loving and passionate teacher, and I am thankful for being one of her students.

Jason, so sorry to hear the passing of your Mother. Mrs. Byrd was my favorite teacher I ever had at Jackson Middle School. I always loved going to her class. I know you and your family will dearly miss her and will always hold close to your heart of all the fond memories you had with your Mom.
