Funeral services will be held at 10am, Friday, November 9, 2012, at Inglewood Baptist Church in Grand Prairie. Burial will follow at Grand Prairie Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends and loved ones on Thursday from 5pm to 7pm at the funeral home.
Patty was born January 13, 1954, in Fort Worth to Charles and Katy (Crouch) Owens. A longtime resident of Grand Prairie, she attended Ben Milam Elementary School and a graduate of South Grand Prairie High School. Patty was a member of Inglewood Baptist Church and taught Sunday school for many years.
Patty was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Peters Jr. and a brother, Charlie Owens Jr.
Those left to cherish her memories include her son, Stephen Haley of Grand Prairie; parents: Charles and Katy Owens of Grand Prairie; sister, Penny Mosconi and husband Larry of Waxahachie; brother, Tommy Owens of Arlington; nieces: Terra Van Odell and husband Toby of Morristown, Tennessee, and Rebecca Mosconi of Arlington; nephews: Jacob Owens, Micah Owens, and Eric Mosconi and wife Holly; and several grandnieces and nephews.
