

Patricia Winfield went home to the Lord on Sunday. March 15, 2026, at the young age of 70. Patricia was born in Mexico City, Mexico on February 18, 1956, to the late Manuel Gonzalez Carrillo and Sara Olivares de Gonzalez. She was the oldest of the four children.
Patricia trusted and believed in Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and was baptized as a teenager. upon her profession of faith. Patricia desired to share the Love of Jesus Christ, and she shared this faith with her family and friends.
Patricia’s Father was a Christian Evangelist. The family traveled around Mexico and Southern California preaching the Gospel. Patricia had very fond memories of traveling with her family to different locations sharing the Gospel. Patricia graduated from High School in Mexico City. Afterwards she started her career as an office manager. The latest job Patricia held was with a large pharmaceutical company. Patricia worked under the Director of Information Technology. Her future Husband was also employed with the same company in the United States location. The company needed an IT person to go to Mexico that understood the language and knew Information Technology. They met and started communicating long distance. This was before Email and the Internet. Snail mail was still popular. After several visits between Patricia visiting the United States and Angelo going to Mexico City, Angelo proposed to Patricia, with the permission from her family. Patricia married her soulmate Angelo Winfield, on December 23, 1995.
Patricia was blessed with 2 bonus children; Wendy Winfield and LaToya Winfield-Boggess and 1 adopted child Saidah Brewer Plus 2 of our own children; Eddie Winfield and Sarah Winfield. Patricia moved to New Mexico and started her next stage in life. She always placed Jesus first in her life. She was very involved in the Church, Community events and helping with the family business. Patricia taught Sunday School, helped lead different Women's Bible Study Groups and several Prayer Groups. Patricia homeschooled Eddie and Sarah until they were ready to enter High School. She taught them the importance of Faith, Family and to take Pride in this Great Country we live in. Every vacation we took the children; she made it an opportunity for them to learn something from different cultures, and how God’s hands were involved in everything we saw.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Manuel González Carrillo and Sara Olivares de Gonzalez, and her brother, Samuel Gonzalez.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories; to her Husband- Angelo G Winfield, Her Children: Wendy, Latoya, Eddie and Sarah. Her grandchildren Eklecia, Melvin, Mary and Elianna; Brother - Cheque Gonzalez, Sister – Sandra Gonzalez, and her Aunts Gloria Olivares & Ruth Olivares, her Niece Danita Gonzalez and a host of other relatives and friends.
Viewing and Service will be held in the Chapel of Grand Prairie Funeral Home, 733 Dalworth Street, Grand Prairie, TX. 75050. The Viewing will be held Thursday, April 2, 2026, at 8:45 am. The Funeral Service will begin at 11:45 am. Patricia Winfield will be laid to rest at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, TX 75211at 2:00 pm.
