She married Mao Van Huynh in 1977. Phung Thi Huynh was self-employed in the grocery industry. She had a passion for gardening.
She is survived by her husband Mao Van Huynh; children: Thao Thu Huynh, Tam Cong Huynh; grandchildren: Haylee La, Khloe La, Wesley La, Isaac Huynh, Liam Huynh; 4 sisters and 3 brothers.
