Loving son, brother and uncle Richard K. Chambers, Jr. of Grand Prairie, Texas, passed away peacefully on June 3, 2016 after a lengthy illness. Rick was born in Wichita Falls, Texas on December 6, 1952. The oldest child of Richard K. Chambers, Sr. and and Barbara Lucille Parker Chambers. Rick was raised in fun cities across the United States and Africa as a child of a United States Air Force Pilot. He is a graduate of Southwest High School in Fort Worth, Texas,1971, and attended UNT and WTSU. Rick was employed by Vought, and later Arch Aluminum. Rick loved writing, music, animals and especially his family. He is survived by his parents, brothers Ronald and Phillip Chambers of Grand Prairie, sister Laura and husband Donnell Hensley of Granbury, nephew Matthew and wife Cassie and their 2 sons, Jett and Jaxxon. Visitation with the family will begin at 10:00 a.m. with a memorial service to follow at 11:00 a.m. at First United Methodist Church, Grand Prairie, Texas.
