Angela Katherine Merrill

On Monday, September 1, 2014 Angela Katherine Merrill passed away unexpectedly. Angela was born to Steven and Denise Merrill on August 30, 1978. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Donald and Joyce Langford and Shirley Merrill, her uncle Douglas Merrill and close friend Ella Mary Sims. Angela is survived by her children Alexa A. Alexander and Anaiya N. Sims; her fiancé Jawanza Sims. Also surviving are her Aunt Valerie House; cousins Tyler House, Emily (Ashwin) Gullena and their children Sid and Sam; Alexa and Anaiya’s grandmother Yolanda Vaughn and grandfather Calvin (Gisela) Hills; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and others who loved her dearly. Angela will always be remembered for her infectious laughter and free spirit. She was a dedicated mother, a loving daughter and a fierce woman. She was also an amazing friend, homemaker, and companion. Please join Angela’s family for visitation from 5-8pm on Friday, September 5, 2014 at Reyers North Valley Chapel. The Funeral Service will be held at 11am on Saturday, September 6, 2014 again at Reyers North Valley Chapel, with Rev. Stedford E. Sims of Step of Faith Church officiating.
