Augustus Lee Morris, aged 86, departed this life on July 31, 2013. He was preceded in death by his parents Reinza and Vivian Morris, brother Reinza Morris Jr., sisters Elizabeth Dotson, Jeanette Grays, Emma Jean Stewart, and Carolyn Sutton, daughter-in-law Erlinda Morris, and grandchild Nathaniel David Morris. Surviving are his wife of 59 years, Lorraine and their children; Augustus Lee Morris Jr., Karen Denise Giles, John Irvin Morris, and Byron Gregory (Monica) Morris. Also surviving are his brother Harold Morris, sisters Betty Thomas and Mary Lois Morris, as well as 4 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Please join his family at 6pm on Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at Reyers North Valley Chapel for his Funeral Service. The family will be greeting friends and relatives prior to the service from 4-6pm. A private family burial in Fairplains Cemetery.
