Barb and her family have been a part of my life for over 41 years. We met a long time ago as new neighbors when we moved onto Upper Lake . Our children became friends and that was the start of our journey together. We enjoyed the lake, the food and the campfires. The years of marriages and grand children being born. The good times of living in the country, and the unusual times when we had no buses to take the kids to schools. The days we were snowed in and the isolating winters where it was just a few of us that lived on the lake. Amazingly, we kept in touch throughout the years. Brandon's wedding was a fun time. The last time I saw Barb, Isabel & I visited her at her home up north. She was such a beautiful person! She had God in her heart, and her loving family around her. It is a good memory. This is the way it has been for all the years that I have known her. My life was truly blessed by Barb and her family. I loved her and her kids. I am so sorry for the loss of Barb in her family and for her friends. She will be missed. I will carry her spirit in my heart always. God bless you all. Please stay in touch.

I remember when I was growing up, my family would go up to Sand Lake and stay with Barb and her family for the weekend. I always had fun swimming in the lake when I was younger. And just enjoying the peace and quiet up there when i was older.
I did not know her well in my adult years but I have many memories of my childhood.
Barb will be deeply missed. May you Rest in Heaven with all the other Angels. Love you and God bless.
