Billie Jean Howes

Billie Jean Howes, age 79, of Jenison, passed away on May 22, 2017. She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Mattie Akey; husband, James Howes; sons, Mark Anthony Howes and James (Kenny) Kenneth Howes; brothers, Don Akey, James Akey, and Richard Akey. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Joy Ann Howes and Cathy Lane (Kurt) Daimler; grandchildren, Becky McKnight, Georjeanna Mae (Matias) Longoria, Kyle James Allen (Stacey) Cooley, Keith Harvey Cooley (Gabrielle Bickersteth), Katie Joy (Travis) Lujan, Jesse Aaron (Kristina) Daimler, Jennifer Sue (Amanda) Daimler-Smith; great- grandchildren, Dustin, Destiny Joy, Dominic, Johnny (Kerri), Josue, Anthony, Alyssa, Matias Jr., Carmella, Ethan, Samuel, Rosemarie, Corbin, Makaylah and Zachary. Also surviving are a brother, Michael (Marilyn) Akey; many nieces, nephews and cousins; and special friends, Bob and Robin Hart. A time of visitation will be held on Wednesday evening, May 24, 2017 from 5-8 pm at Reyers North Valley Chapel. Funeral Services will be Thursday, May 25, 2017 at 1pm at Wood Brook Cathedral, 1739 Providence NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49525. Rev. J.B. Stutts officiating. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
