Sending my love and prayers to Pam and the entire Butkin family. Darrell was a good man who was like a big brother to all of us. For almost 25 years they hosted a bunch of us at the annual Man Bash party at their place and we played golf and bbq'd and played music so loud late into the night one year the GRPD showed up and shut us down. I had some of the best times of my life at their place and made some life-long friends and memories as well and I can't thank Darrell and Pam enough for being such great hosts and even better people. He will be missed. RIP Darrell. Love to you all.

All of you are in my prayers at this time.I consider Darrell a Butkin Boy because those boys now men are always there when you need them.I love the memory of their music . When the boys would play the song Jump and they would all stand in a circle around their Dad and they would all jump.I call that a Butkin moment. This memory is burnt in my heart forever.Love you all .

Darrell was the best when It came to the Big Game, I could not wait to tell him MSU would smash your team U of M, of course it was all in fun. He loved the Maze and Blue. I loved the sports challenge.
He faced many challenges but he was always the winner in life.
He has a wonderful family and was loved. Therefore no matter who one the Big game he was a real winner. He will be missed. What a great Man and family. Loved by all.

Pam and family, I'm so sorry for your loss. Darrell was well loved and well respected. I've never heard anyone share anything but great things about him. I remember running into him a few months ago at the grocery store prior to me going back to the office. I hadn't seen him physically since March of 2020 at that time. I got to spend an awesome twenty minutes talking to him. He had the same smile on his face that he always had and was as cool as ever! I will always hold him in high esteem. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. RIP buddy!

Darrell will be sadly missed. He was the best person. Always happy and kind. He was the gambling man look alike and knew how to hold and when to fold em'. Rest in peace my friend.
