Hi Lois,
I just heard about Dave. We worked together a few times over the last 20 years at Steelcase, but it was always a pleasure talking with him regardless of whether we were working together or not. He will be missed.

Dave was a great friend and I'm very thankful to have so many good memories of times shared with him both at work and on the golf course. I'm really going to miss his smile, his friendship and his sense of humor.

Lois, you have both been a part of the Bud and Stanley's for so many years. I feel like we lost a family member. I am so sorry for your loss and all the pain that comes with it. You will be in all of our thoughts and prayers.  Lynne.

I think because Dave and I share a common ancestry (German) he "got" my dry sense of humor, and I could pick up on his.  On Fridays, I often kidded him as he picked up his large bag of clanking Red Bull cans to take home with him.  I announced he was going to his alternate life "on the streets" where he was using them for currency.
Dave was always helpful, and sometimes his own work was penalized when we couldn't figure out for ourselves "why" the ECN didn't go through, and he was helping us.
I am sorry and surprised to see him go (so soon) and I will miss him. 

I will always remember Dave's humbleness and kindness.  He will be missed by all who knew him,

Dave was a member of the Go Fore It golf league for many years.   He was always ready with a smile and was a joy to golf with.  We all feel the loss of a great friend,  much too soon.   Thoughts and prayers for Dave and his family.

I never worked directly with Dave at Steelcase but would always enjoy our brief chats around the Innovation Center about how Mom was doing and what trips they had in the planning.  Dave dearly loved his mother Lois and it was great still having part of the family at Steelcase since her retirement.

Lois, our deepest sympathies to you and your family. Know that our prayers are with you in this time of grief. We send our love and concern.

20 some odd years ago I helped get Dave hired in at Steelcase and earned the role of Lois' second son and was always proud to be called that!  Even though I no longer work at Steelcase I have always kept in touch with Dave and his Mom.  My thoughts and prayers go out to you Mom!!  

Dave and I shared the same interest in collecting watches and also had shared the love for college football.  To bad Dave cheered for the wrong team....Go Irish Dave!

I have worked with Dave for many years and will miss him.  He was very dedicated to his work and enjoyed sharing his passion for travel and U of M with us (especially us MSU fans).  
I will miss that little smirk he would get when I was giving him a hard time about an upcoming game.  Praying for the comfort and the peace only God can bring for his Mom.  If you need anything please let your Steelcase family know.
