We were sadded to learn of Dorothy's passing.

Dear Jim, So sorry to hear about Dorothy. I would have loved to come to the visitation, but did not find out until the Stroh's told me last night. I was just thinking of Dorothy last week while looking through old photos of my mom and dad. I found Dorothy's graduation picture and wondered how you guys were doing. Please know you are in my prayers.

Dorothy couldn't cut her own hair and my mom didn't bake pies. So my mom cut Dorothy's hair and Dorothy would bake us a pie. Dorothy's pies were great. As a kid I remember wishing her hair would grow faster. It was so nice to visit again with my dad's "forever" neighbor Mr. Jim and my wonderful childhood friends. So many good memories. Dorothy was so nice. She will be missed and she will be remembered.

Enjoying the extended family, the Bodbyls, remains in my heart the true impression of family.  A joyful mother who loves her husband is a great gift to all who witness.  Aunt Dorothy knew how to love and Love is a powerful expression.Your family has much to be strengthened by as you go forth in the Legacy she has left behind.

We were neighbors for many years. We laughed and enjoyed hearing your wonderful family tales - may those happy memories be with all of you at this time.

How wonderful to scroll through all the beautiful pictures & in each one, you can truly see her sweet spirit & how much she totally enjoyed and loved her family.  Our hearts are sad for all who will miss her so very much and yet also smile for the addition that Heaven has aquired.  Her grace, joy and "twinkle" in her eyes will be remembered and missed.
