Dorothy A. Kuklewski

Dorothy A. Kuklewski, a cherished resident of Grand Rapids, Michigan, passed away on October 12, 2025, at the age of 91. Born on December 27, 1933, Dorothy lived a full and meaningful life, leaving behind a legacy of love and kindness.

Known to sign her name as ".e", Dottie graduated from Catholic Central and later married Stan Kuklewski on August 30, 1952. She worked in a variety of places and positions, including the treasurer office of the City of Grand Rapids, an Avon lady, sign maker for Montgomery Ward, and as a secretary at St. Jude Catholic Church. She also helped on the Bereavement committee and visited shut-ins as well as working with Ronald McDonald House Charities.

Dottie loved shopping, spending time with family and friends, dining out, and traveling.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, Stan Kuklewski; parents, Joseph and Rose Kuklewski; and sister, Arlene Marie Phillips.

Dottie is survived by her son, Kraig Kuklewski (Cheryl); grandchildren, Joseph and Chelsea; siblings, Kathy Kierepka and Bob Kierepka; many nieces, nephews, extended family, and many, many friends.

Visitation will be held on October 16, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at St. Jude Catholic Church, located at 1120 4 Mile Rd NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49525. Following the visitation, a Funeral Mass will take place at the same location from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. The Committal Service will be conducted at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, 2000 Walker Ave NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49504, from 2:00 pm to 2:30 pm on the same day.

Dorothy will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.
