My words cannot convey the emptiness I feel in my heart. My "Auntie" was more like a Mother to me than a Aunt,even as a child she was the one who did most of the Birthday and Christmas shopping for my Mom, since she didn't drive,she continued to keep me close after my parents passed away.Living in Texas even though we were miles apart we still had a close relationship over the phone .I will miss our 2 hour conversations, all of the wisdom and encouragement she gave me over the years,the laughs we shared and the memories will be with me forever. It is clear that Mrs. Graves lived her life giving to others.  She was my Godmother & was always kind to mark my Catholic sacraments and big birthdays growing up.  Peace to her and her family.

I didn't know"Auntie" personally, I only new her through her niece. I know she was a wonderful woman and much loved by her family and friends. I know she will be deeply missed by all of you. God Bless All of You.

To Cathy, Linda, Mary, Steve, Greg and Scott,
Your mom was so warm and kind and and always made me feel like one of the family. She loved you all so much and yet could make me feel just as special. I spent so much time with Cathy and the family in highschool and will never forget how neat she was and you were all very lucky to have her as a mom.

Dear Gregg and family:  Our thoughts of sympathy are so deeply felt, yet so hard to express.  Praying that the love of your family and friends will help you through your sadness.

I always refered to her as " Aunt Ellenor" growing up, however she felt more like a grandmother to me. She was one of a kind. Im sure I will never know anyone as thoughtful, and admirable as she.  And such a profound memory, always taking the time to send a little minding every birthday. How she remembered everyone, always, is remarkable. I feel so blessed to have just known such a woman. To the Graves  family, you are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Grandma Graves,
You had the most loving heart in the whole world. I will never forget all the days I would stop to your house after getting off the bus from school when I should have just went home. I will never forget how you would stand at the end of your driveway and watch me walk back home safely. I will never forget all the summer camping trips in the motorhome with you and grandpa. I will never forget how you and grandpa gave us the best Christmas's. I will never forget all the fun times at the cabin we had. I will never forget how you brought Caden into your life and treated him as your grandchild. I will always remember that you are the best grandma to so many people that you loved so much! I love you!

I was so sorry to read about your mother today via computer.  She was such a neat lady, and always made me feel comfortable when I met her at different outings thru the years. You have my condolences and may our Heavenley Father keep you in His graces during this difficult time.

Dear Scott, Mary, Steve, Linda, Gregg and Cathy,
I only had to attend one Graves Family Christmas party to see that Ellenor Graves was a beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. Because of this, I liked to call her Grandma Graves, even though I knew her less than 10 years. She had a great attention to detail that made me feel welcome into your family. I recall one Christmas that I gave her a houseplant.  When I saw her the following spring, she mentioned how lovely the plant was blooming and how much she appreciated it. She will be severely missed.

In honor of my mother.  I had a very fortunate upbringing with my mom and dad.  They always took the time and effort to be great teachers while also making my life fun and adventurous growing up.  I feel thankful to have experienced a special bond with my mother.  (She was my secretary for a time back in the construction days).  As Fathers Day approaches, I can only hope that I can put the lifes lessons she taught me, into use for my own children and grandchildren. My mother, very special, very loved.  Your Son, Scott

In Memory of Mrs. Graves.  We will always remember her for welcoming us into her family several years ago.  She was always there for our special occasions such as showers, birthdays, graduations, weddings, and Christmases by either attending and/or bringing gifts or making us yummy food.
