Irene (Kersjes) Pawloski, aged 87 of Grand Rapids, passed away peacefully Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at St. Ann's Home. Irene is now living at the beach up in heaven. She was preceded in death by her son, David. Surviving are her children, Steve, Jerry, Barb, Bob, Jim and Mary Lou. Many grandchildren, great grandchildren, a brother, and sisters. After raising her children, Irene worked as an R.N. at St. Mary's. While dancing the polka or eating a hot fudge sundae, remember Irene and her zest for living life to the fullest. In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place and a Service of Remembrance will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday in the chapel at St. Ann's Home, 2161 Leonard N.W. Relatives and friends may meet her family at the Reyers North Valley Chapel from 4-7:30 p.m. Sunday. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Ann's Home.
