On August 4, 1979, Lee was united in marriage to the former Suzanne Lussky, who survives.
Lee was a mechanical engineer by trade and spent his career working in the manufacturing field.
A man of great faith, Lee was an active and dedicated member of his church, Zion Lutheran Church. Over the years he held numerous officer positions including several times as the president.
In his free time, Lee enjoyed studying the genealogy of his family and researching the stories of his and other extended family members’ family trees. Knowing his ancestry was primarily Danish, he was able to trace his family back multiple generations and was interested in the history of Denmark.
However, and most importantly, Lee was a devoted husband and father. His journey was one of acceptance of everyone and refusal to dismiss anyone. His family and faith will be a lasting legacy to his memory.
Besides his wife of 41 years, Sue, Lee is survived by his children: Jennifer Archer, Andrew (Julie) Archer and Adam (Holly) Christensen; his grandchildren Ada & Theo Freyr; his sisters Carol Bond and Mary (Doug) Ladanyi and his brother Paul (Kaye) Christensen, many nephews and nieces that were special to him, as well as many other family.
A privately attended memorial service will be held at Zion Lutheran Church on February, 13, 2021 at 1:00pm. Friends are cordially invited to join the family via Live Stream by going to https://www.facebook.com/groups/41961006201/
