Michael Anthony Colby, aged 33, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, February 9, 2015. He was born on November 8, 1981 in Grand Rapids. Michael was preceded by his sister Erica, and is survived by his wife Cory, mother Regina (Terry) Duplanty, his step-children Joe, Pam and Aaryka, daughter Brianna, granddaughter Brielle, his brothers Matt Colby and Marc Colby, sister Casey Hall, father figure Felix, his grandmother, many uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews. Michael was a great husband and father figure. He will be remembered for being a kind and funny man. He was loved by all. Please join Michael's family for visitation on Monday, February 16, 2015 at Reyers North Valley Chapel from 10am to 2pm. An open reception will follow at Appletree Estates Community Center (1061 Wilson Ave NW, Walker, MI 49534) beginning at 3pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
