Michelle "Shelly" Lee Alofs

On Wednesday, October 22, 2014 Michelle "Shelly" Lee Alofs passed away unexpectedly. Shelly was born on September 1, 1969. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Roy (Lucille) Alofs, Grandmother Betty Burdick, and her brother Michael Alofs. Shelly is survived by her Father Roger (Diane) Alofs, Mother Trudy (Michael) VanWyck, her siblings Jason and Jennifer, very special nephews and nieces Gage, Lily, Kevin and Sophie, and Aunts Judy Lootens and Nancy Hall. Shelly will always be remembered for her love of animals and rescuing them. She was dedicated and hard-working, and loved her job at Charlie's Bar and Grille. Shelly was a major Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Cowboys fan. She will be missed by her families both in Arizona and in Grand Rapids, as well as her Charlie's family. Shelly was a loving, caring and giving soul, whose heart was filled with love, especially for her nephew Gage. He was her world. Her infectious personality will be greatly missed. Please join Shelly's family for visitation from 11-1pm on Monday, October 27, 2014 at Reyers North Valley Chapel. The Memorial Service will be held at 1pm on Monday, October 27, 2014 again at Reyers North Valley Chapel. Friends invited to Charlie's Bar and Grille following the service for a time of fellowship.
