Miren, surrounded by love, gracefully continued on her spiritual journey to join her husband Mark, son William and son-in-law Ralph into God’s loving arms. Born in Spain, child refugees of the Spanish Civil War, Miren and Mark would set off to write an American Story. Her zest for life, words of wisdom and unbridled honesty captured hearts, along with many lifelong friends as she knew of no other kind. Miren was cherished by her children. Virginia(Eduardo), William (Kathleen), Mark, Susan (Ralph), John (Tricia), and Pam (Jerome). She will be forever adored by 16 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and well-loved family in both Spain and Great Britain. Memorial Visitation will be Friday September 20th at 10am until the time of Mass at 11am, with a luncheon following at St Jude Catholic Church, 1120 4 Mile Rd. NE in Grand Rapids.
