Paul Vernon Zandee, age 88 of Grand Rapids, passed away on November 27, 2022. He was born to David and Louwina (Borgman) Zandee on September 15, 1934 in Grand Rapids, where he was raised and where he would raise his family. He then applied and attended Office Training School and became a Commissioned Officer. Paul was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant, moving up the rank to retire as a Major.
In his free time Paul enjoyed photography, taking beautiful still life photos as well as capturing flowers. He loved trap shooting, and was the Michigan State Skeet Champion for many years. He enjoyed his time sitting on the board for the Kent Conservation League.
